David B. Nash was named the Founding Dean of the Jefferson College of Population Health (JCPH) which caps a 25-year tenure on the faculty of Thomas Jefferson University. He is also the Dr. Raymond C. and Doris N. Grandon Professor of Health Policy and a board-certified internist.
Dr. Nash is a principal faculty member for quality of care programming for the American Association for Physician Leadership and leads their academic joint venture with JCPH. He serves on the NQF Task Force on Improving Population Health and the John M. Eisenberg Award Committee for The Joint Commission. He is also a founding member of the AAMC-IQ Steering Committee. Dr. Nash was recently appointed to the Board of the Pharmaceutical Quality Alliance (PQA) in Washington, DC. Dr. Nash serves on multiple boards and is currently Editor-in-Chief of American Journal of Medical Quality, Population Health Management, P&T, and American Health and Drug Benefits.

Brent James is a member of the National Academy of and is a Fellow of the American College of Physician Executives. He holds faculty appointments at several universities: Clinical Professor, Stanford University School of Medicine (Medicine), Visiting Lecturer, Harvard School of Public Health (Health Policy and Management), Adjunct Professor, University of Utah School of Medicine (Family Medicine; Biomedical Informatics); and Adjunct Professor, University of Sydney, Australia, School of Public Health He is presently a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI); and a Senior Advisor at Leavitt Partners and Health Catalyst. Formerly, he was Chief Quality Officer, and Executive Director, Institute for Healthcare Delivery Research at Intermountain Healthcare. Previously, he was Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the Harvard School of Public Health and staffed the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer. He serves on several non-profit boards of trustees dedicated to clinical improvement and patient safety.

Dr. Don Rucker is the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where he leads is the formulation of the federal health IT strategy and coordinates federal health IT policies, standards, programs, and investments.
Dr. Rucker has three decades of clinical and informatics experience. He started his informatics career at Datamedic Corporation, where he co-developed the world’s first Microsoft Windows-based electronic medical record. He then spent over a decade serving as Chief Medical Officer at Siemens Healthcare USA.
Dr. Rucker has also practiced emergency medicine for a variety of organizations including at Kaiser in California; at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; at the University of Pennsylvania’s Penn Presbyterian and Pennsylvania Hospitals; and, most recently, at Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center.

She has held executive roles at Fair Isaac (NYSE: FIC) and leadership positions in the incubation phase of numerous startups. A serial technology entrepreneur, Mikki was part of the founding team of Backweb Technologies (NASD: BWEB) and managed business development projects at AT&T Business Network (YP.com), Europe Online, and Reuters. Mikki is on the Advisory Committee for Goergen Institute for Data Science at the University of Rochester.

Evan Benjamin is Chief Medical Officer at Ariadne Labs, a joint center of healthcare innovation at Harvard School of Public Health and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. As CMO he provides oversight, guidance, and support to Ariadne Labs’ research faculty, ensuring that Ariadne’s findings are supported by rigorous evidence and result in clinically meaningful change. Prior to becoming CMO at Ariadne Labs, Evan was Senior Vice President for Quality and Population Health for Baystate Health. Evan founded the Center for Quality of Care Research at Baystate and is faculty for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) where he teaches leadership and improvement. He sits on numerous national boards and healthcare panels. He had been on the Board of Mercy Health, OH (formerly Catholic Health Partners), and committees for the National Academy of Medicine, the American Hospital Association, Premier Inc, CMS and others.

Darryl Strawberry is described as a legend by many who have been dazzled by the dynamics of his game, the power he possessed at the plate and the story of redemption that continues to bring hope to so many lives. He has earned the legendary nicknames and phrases of one of the most feared homerun hitters in the game of baseball, Straw’s Sweet Swing, Strawberry’s Field Forever and The Legendary Straw Man!
Though Darryl was extremely successful in his career, his personal life was plagued with addictions, abuse, divorces, cancer, jail-time and other issues. Darryl finally found true redemption and restoration in Jesus Christ.
